Is it only me who finds this one really interesting? Very unusual spec, and could be a great complement to a full-on hardcore car.
Being sporto and a targa there would be no temptation to try to optimise for speed, just make it into a lovely cruiser and enjoy it on sunny days. Chartreuse looks great against a blue sky!

Good luck with the sale, Rosh. I guess my feedback on the ad is that, for a car where the major spend is, as usual, going to be bodywork, any detailed info you can give about the extent of the corrosion, plus previous work done, is going to save everyone some time.
I think buyers will be trying to figure out: is this a car where local repairs and a repaint get you something really nice for the next many years? Or, honestly, are we in full strip, blast, Celette, lots of panels territory? In the end inspection is the only way, but detailed pics of the front pan and all other dodgy areas might be worthwhile for a start?
Also a good interior has value - the costs add up there. Worth adding some more pics of that, I reckon.

All pertinent stuff.

The car may be able to be patched up with local repairs and paint, but I'm thinking it does warrant a strip, blast, paint and some new panels.

I managed to get some pics today. As you can see, some of the trim in the rear of the car has been removed to investigate the extent of the work required. You'll see that some poking and prodding has identified some localised heavy corrosion.

The interior is in good condition, with some new replica seats. Unfortunately the dash has the standard split in it. The door pockets are complete, and this car has an unusual ashtray option. The carpets are in good condition, as are the rear seats. The Targa top is in very good condition, with a new headlining.

I hope the pictures answer some questions.

Just because I like different Targa, colour, sporto coupled with Chris Turner spannered gearbox (so you know the sporto will run right) and engine. I was tempted to call me bank for a loan but then I remember I had two cars which aren't finished already

In fact Chris one described to me working on a sporto gearbox that another London specialist had claimed to have fixed. Generally he didn't blame or point but he said the work was so bad he had to call to politely tell them they had no idea what they were doing.

Neil, that would be this one. I won't 'name and shame' (just as Chris wouldn't), but you're right, the other London specialist didn't do a great job with it. Chris worked his magic, and it's been running great since!!!

The car sold at the weekend. It really is like saying goodbye to an old friend!

Makes sense really as the HK import tax is close to 100%, since an ex HK car may not need to pay this.
