Re: Le Mans Classic 3-5 July 2020
We’re gearing up to bring a bigger PCI contingent this year so good craic inevitable.
I am planning to trailer my 77 924 martini race car.with my camper,
Saw the new 1966 Ford vs Ferrari film last night in Cork with some PCI buddies- required viewing IMO along with the original McQueen Le Mans film.
There is also a series currently on Netflix - haven’t seen that yet!

Clive, I've already got confirmed bookings from PCI even though we're not "live" yet. Certainly PCI bring a different "flavour" to the event, as sort of toxic mix of Jamesons and craic......anglophone1 wrote:We’re gearing up to bring a bigger PCI contingent this year so good craic inevitable.

For 2020 will also try and get some proper Ddk cruises to LeMans . Be good to get some group s together especially for those than prefer to drive with others.

Which car park would you guys recommend for those of us not camping? What is it like to drive in, I am just trying to imagine how busy it is.

Can be really busy if you’re trying to park in club parking area unless you get there early
Mulsanne and Arnage parking are straightforward
Blue nord parking is easy to get ... beyond that I’m not sure of any other parking areas. Traffic generally is a nightmare through Arnage

Re: Le Mans Classic 3-5 July 2020
Mulsanne / Arnage are miles away from the centre of the action .. 100% should be on your list of places to visit & watch the racing from, preferably dusk into night .... but for the main action you need to park at the circuit centre. If you're early enough traffic wont' be an issue. Of course best thing to do is camp with DDK in our private camping area & then you've got a short( ish ) stroll into the centre + we're on the Porsche Ciurves with our own viewing area + youre only 5 min drive from Arnage / Indi ... perfect

And driving about during the event is miles easier than it is in the 24 hour, there's far less traffic.

Re: Le Mans Classic 3-5 July 2020
Already have a chateau booked, camping was not allowed by the women in attendance So better look at Bleu Nord then or somewhere closer. Thanks for the heads up.
