Talking of sections someone asked if there would be a cars for sale area. What do you think?

I would have thought that just putting something in your window would do the trick - I remember part of husborne was walking around the car park and checking what was there - so I think any for sale stickers would get seen
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah

Gantspeed have confirmed a pitch today together with a couple more privateers so that's 25 that we know of. Please spread the word so we make sure there are of lots of customers for them. Did anyone share to the other forums?

We also have coffee by Buzzy Beans, bacon rolls from The BBQ Blacksmith and the boys from Nice Slice Pizza will here too.

Busy weekend for me with Oulton Park on Friday and London on Sunday but this seems too good to miss so squeezing it in! :)

I'll be bringing a truck full of parts including a complete 2.4E MFI engine, a good running 2.4T CSI engine, a complete solid coupe front clip from A-posts forward, a roof section with sunroof and all sunroof parts, a pair of mint 73 doors, a full set of 73 date matched gauges, original fuel tank, door frames, various seats, lots of interior items and much, much more!

Star item is a freshly built and unused MFI racing fuel pump built to 2.7/2.8RS specification, complete with spec sheets and built by the legendary Gus Pfister at Pacific Fuel Injection in San Francisco 8)

I might also bring a set of original Deep 6 and 7R Fuchs freshly refurbished by Biagio and shod with new 185/70 and 215/60 Pirellii Cinturato CN36.

Hopefully I should be able to take card payments on the day too.

Look forward to seeing you all there :thumbright:

....you back in an early car Mike or have another project?

For those that may be interested, note this is not an RSR spec pump.

A couple of years back I planned to build a homeage to the 2.7 twin-plug development engines mentioned in the Starkey book, one of which was reportedly fitted to the Zasada car. Having an early 2.4E engine with 5R/7R cases as a base the timing worked and thought it would be a fun project.

The plan was a 2.7 twin-plug engine with small fan, high butterflies and a racing pump and with a future visit planned to North California I commissioned Gus at PFI to build me a suitable MFI pump. Unfortunately this project stalled but I acquired the pump anyway.

This pump is unique and basically a 2.7RS spec pump with a racing pump look built to work with RS cams. It will also work perfectly if using 2.8 barrels and pistons. I have the spec sheet and also video of the pump on Gus's test bed. A piece of art from the master imo 8)

I'd still quite like to build this engine and try it the Mongrel and would happily consider splitting my 2.4E engine and sell off the complete MFI induction if anyone is interested. If not the pump is ready to bolt on and saves a two year wait...
