I used Art wheels in Strasbourg, France. They did an exceptional job on my 7R and 8x15 Fuchs. They claim to be the only company in Europe that dip them. However, I'm in Zurich, so its only a few hours drive for me.

Presume you mean paint dipping as per original wheels?

Hi Brian

Not sure if Nick Moss is still doing Fuchs or Canford Classics do them I believe.

Cheers

Yes, paint dipping. I've seen wheels that are restored but the paint doesn't look quite right as they were not dipped.

My observation of original paint dipped Fuchs is that the paint line is not very crisp and often uneven. Original finish of course but most restorations of Fuchs I have seen have a more modern precise aesthetic rather than an original one. If well defined paint edges are desired then good masking is the route. A bit of a pain to do though.

The pics of my wheels are from teh 1st July 2018. The pics were taken on my iPhone, so not the best, but in my opinion the edges are very good, as is the polishing and adonising work. I am very happy with the work Art Wheels did.
