I promise no more after the next instalment, the last are back on theme with Porsche. We made a trip to European Collectables, I have been in the past and I like what they do. Not sure its up there with Carparc or CPR Classic but they have some very special cars at times. Nice people and even let me take pictures of a customers Gemini Blue and then debated whether or not it was the right shade or not :? (I have picked my shade / colour so no going back).

Only just caught this thread Tom.......wonderful images, thanks for putting in the effort :)

My sister-in-law lived in Newport Beach and we spent a month long honeymoon there 32 years ago (anniversary tomorrow!), we've been going back to CA ever since although family have now moved North. Great memories, love California 8)

Cheers,
Mike

Tom

Great pics. That looks like a really good Gemini blue Tom. Cameras, screens, light etc all affect things I know but that looks pretty spot on to me. It’s a lovely colour when right.
Viper green RS looks like a later production date. Maybe late second or third series on 6’s and 7’s by the looks of it. No door pockets? Looks highly polished.
Thanks for posting

Regards
Mike

Thanks for posting, Tom.
As on the wrapped McLaren in your pic, we saw quite a few "11-99 Foundation" license plate frames on fast cars in CA. As you probably know, 11-99 is a benevolent fund for California Highway Patrol officers and families - plate frame available to serious donors. Wonder how well the frame works at deflecting speeding tickets!

Richard, I hadn't noticed the plate frame. They were collecting money for the Special Olympics, it was organised by the Police. Quite a good idea to be able to show your support in that way......and avoid tickets.

Mike,

Thanks for the view on the Gemini Blue, I thought it was a good colour match and really what I expected. The RS was compeltely restored, I liked it but I suspect overly restored for many.

As always great pictures Tom. You certainly saw some great cars. On my trip to Argentina I saw one Cayenne and that was in the distance :P

I'm in SoCal right now. Just got back from Cars & Coffee. No photos as couldn't be arsed! Lots of Porsches, though...and sunshine.
