Thanks, interesting to see another South African RHD car that’s early in production. Or at least an early vin number. Looks a great car.
Price: $289,900 Prices are fairly high in Australia then?

New RHD 1969T onto the list

Adding to the list of RHD 1969 911t
119100167

https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/detail ... 0357/?Cr=2

Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 119100167
Engine Number 6193150
Model & Year 1969 911T
Exterior colour: Burgundy
Delivery Scuderia Veloce Sydney

"Here we have a very original Australian delivered 911T manual coupe in lovely condition that would make an exceptional 'driver'. Since being delivered by Scuderia Veloce Motors Willoughby in March 1970 It has remained in NSW all its life and has been with the same family for the last 40 odd years.
Porsche Cars Australia has confirmed it is a matching numbers car, it is still in its original delivery colour specification of burgundy with Beige. It was originally delivered with a 'Sportomatic' transmission which like so many of them was replaced with a much better 5-speed 915 box in the late 80's. In the early 90's and approx 8,000 klms ago the engine was rebuilt and upgraded to 2.2L. But as the car has had little use since, it will need to come apart again to deal primarily with oil leaks.
We have had a good look at the body and have found a very minimal amount of rust that you could choose to fix now or simply monitor for the time being. The paintwork is good (not perfect) and presents extremely well. Over the years due to wear and tear some of the original items have been changed for later items such as the dashboard ( we have the original ), front horn grills, and side sills.
It has had a lot of money spent on it over the last few years including a new carpet set ( 356 style square-weave ), all new suspension and bushings, brake and fuel lines, wheel bearings, brakes etc... We have just carried out a compression and leakage test which was very good, there are no broken head studs and valve clearances have been set. But as I mentioned above it needs to come apart to deal with the leaks. During the gearbox change, the odometer was changed to an electronic unit, it was showing approx 78,000 miles so the total mileage on the car is approx 143,000 km. Lastly, it comes with its original books and a folder of receipts going back to the 80's.
This is a genuine opportunity to obtain a very original piece of Australian Porsche history. Once the engine has been taken care of this will make a lovely original early car for someone to drive and enjoy without the anxiety of living with a concourse winner.
A full report has been completed on the car so feel free to call and discuss.

Pictures will help as they jog memories, interior too in case thing have changed over the years.
If you join the Porsche Club of GB you can get for free the factory build card.
Good luck with your quest.
Graham.
Not correct Graham. Cardex ( build document) was only available up to 1969 model year. The former COA : Certificate of Authenticity is also no longer available.
It is worth contacting the PCGB register secretary for your car incase there is any record of it in the Early 911 register.
