Father and son

One day a father went into his son's bedroom.
"There is something I have to tell you . . " he began.
He mumbled on and on, blushing as he spoke.
". .so you mustn't do it or you'll go blind," he finished at last, "er, do you understand?"
The confused son said:
"Dad, I'm over here."
