I must say that you chaps seem to have completely forgotten one of the maddest and most demented guitar players of all time. I’ve emptied rooms at hi fi shows all over the world with this chap. Ours was always much more powerful than normal hi fi and Johnny Winter was a breath of fresh air after Sheffield Labs, Windam Hill, Mary Black, Tracey Chapman or Larry Carlton.

Poor chap was as thin as a rake, Albino and spent his life in and out of rehab, but he produced the most successful Muddy Waters albums and many others. A chum from EAW played Hammond with him in New England some years ago and was astonished by him. He played like a man possessed for about an hour and then keeled over. His friends picked him and his kit up and carted him off.

The track is from 1970 so you can see that he might have been quite influential.

Bit of the same, but such a different take.
Happy Xmas.
Hope you get the Strat or the Les Paul or what you fancy!
