Early S Camshafts FS

Post by knobs »

I have a set of early S cams, said to be from an RS, but pretty sure were the same for many early S cars wit MFI.
Part Numbers -

901.105.183.0R
901.105.110.1R

Small amount of rust on a couple of the lobes.
Happy to mail pictures if you're interested, PM me.

£200 + postage

Hi Matt

Could you confirm those numbers please. The 110 would appear not to be an S cam going off the notes I have.

Regards
Mike

Hi Mike

It is 110, what camshaft does this no. suggest from your records?

Looks like 2.0s camshafts from a quick google

I have it as a 69-73 E (mfi) camshaft RHS but I'm willing to be corrected.

A 2.0 litr S camshaft I have as 901 105 124 00 (for webers)

Regards
Mike

Cheers Darren,

You seem confident - so that's what they are (unless someone knows better). There is an S stamp on the '110' cam end.

There's a better parts number knowledge on here for 50yr old cars than for many still in production cars, amazing!

Thanks for pointing it out in the first place Mike.

Now, does anyone need a set of 2.2s camshafts.......

OK, now I'm confused.

For sale; 1 LHS RS cam + 1 RHS Cam (early but unknown specifics) possibly S but maybe E or L

Anyone?

Exactly the same cams that came out of my 2.2S 901/02 engine and going into the same 2.2S engine I'm rebuilding.

Used in '69 2.0S as well & am fairly sure they can be used in 2.4S/2.7RS ...
