Nice one Andy !!
Very interesting reading how you research your purchases.
There is a yellow F reg RHD example that lives on the outskirts of Birmingham, literally 15 mins from you.
Could that be the one on the list ??
Best

Yes, we already have sort of set a precedent ( at spa) for letting Italian cars join our Ddk road tripsjohnM wrote:Very nice Andy.

Ooh. I quite like that. Tho maybe not the seats.
Is it staying standard?
I'm picturing some red and white coach work additions to give it an il tricolore flavour. Maybe some spears off the headlights. Or some little cloverleafs.

The plan is to remove all surplus non-original items (extra badges, stickers, lights, etc), re-install the original seats, remove the leather covering on the dash face & maybe replace the modern stereo with a period radio.

As ever Andy, an excellent looking base to add your own touches to.
I would never have thought that colour was factory; I learn something every day.
An old hillclimb friend is an Alfa nut for decades, and I can see the attraction.

Re: Not another bl**dy Alfa ! ... ?!!
Gave the original seats a quick wipe over - they look more than good enough to re-install.
I was pleased to see that they are correctly dated on the underside:
I then heard back from Centro Documentazione at Alfa Romeo in Italy confirming that the car was completed on 29th May 1969 & then shipped to Alfa Romeo GB in London on 31st July.
'Vivo Verde' is the correct original colour too - so everything seems to tally.
