Peace and quite before the family were up this morning. Not the best weather but good fun.

Nice Tom

Roads look deserted.

A great stretch of road in terms of contours and sweeping curves but the surface is terrible in places. Lots of use by those heavy open cast lorries and the huge Thomas French fleet me thinks. (and useless maintenance)

Regards
Mike

What a great looking car! 993 RS is still on my "to do" list as I suspect it makes the perfect sports tourer. I've come close twice but never quite managed to bag one. Good on you for getting a drive in.

Lovely photos too, especially the first one. Well done and it shows us what we should be doing early mornings rather than snoring !

Mike,

Some of the roads are perfect others not so. Combination of rain, over zealous driving and poor surface resulted in me finding myself on the opposite side of the road on a few corners no matter what I tried, serious understeer on a more than one occasion. Slowing down was an option but with no one on the roads, no issue.

Not sure if I have a thread on my 993 other than this, in any event. This has been the car I have been driving the most and thought I should share some pictures in these strange times. Early morning runs more often than not to the fish merchant in Glasgow has seen me stopping in past what would be busy areas, currently deserted.

Looks lovely Tom. Remind me, is it black or midnight blue?

I think the 993RS is probably the perfect all round sporting 911.
