wheels adapters

Post by oliver365 »

Hi all not been working on cars for a while & thought ad upgrade first build on a few things  so Ive never liked the 4 stud wheels :? bought a new set of 5 wide all 4.5 in width with wheel adapters  but fit great on rear but got discs on front :? & they wont fit because caliper is proud of disc by about an inch :knob: :( SO any ideas? apart from shelling out on pricey 5 wide disc conversion

About time you got your hands dirty Olly ;-). Might have something at home that'll do the job. I'll have a look when back from work.

Hi Olly think these are what you need. I had theses on mine in the early early days of the chassis build with disks up front also.. they add an inch either side to the track.

Wow great work Heb :salute: mmm because wheels are chrome unable to do that :? but only other way is to see if i had the adaptors like yours Rich with a shortend beam & tyre change ????

Those adapters and a shortened beam should do the trick without a tyre swap? Will you do the beam yourself??
