 that's horrendous. I can't believe the starting bid is £25,000. The classic porsche market has gone nuts

For now, but this could be a good barometer.

It states 'semi-automatic' so I presume a sportomatic trans. so making it a bit harder, but rarer!

I thought my non matching '73T/3.2 hotrod all up and running, MoT etc was worth really £40K tops.
If this goes to £40k then things are in a mad spiralling up way.

25K. One of those cars where someone has told him he has the Golden ticket...

Time to get out one of my favourite pictures again....

Solid floor, so that's nice.
But no carpet, which is going to make a world of difference to the resto cost.
Yes, looks like a sporto.

Maybe time for my favourite pic too. How much of the original shell will remain? About this much:

One for the brave, I think...

I would not touch this with a barge pole- The sums simply do not add up even at £20k.
After a very expensive restoration the car would still not be that desirable.

If the offer was genuine he should have bitten their hand off. Alternatively he could have been making it up to try and get a bid from you.

Very likely was a made up bid.I politely declined further interest.

Unless Steve McQueen farted in it once, or it comes with a set of Kylie's underwear then even £25k is too much - but I guess 30k
