Cheers guys, really really pleased with how it’s turned out.
Decided in the end to go with the correct black texture underneath, fully painted insides but with the black factory details around the runners, managed to get hold of a Porsche paint manual so it’s as close to factory as possible, just nicer
Inside with the black details around the edge of the doors, dash and seat runners
Inner arch, love the details of the factory spot welds showing through
Underside
Rear seat area
Also satin black inside all the doors, tunnels etc

always wanted an early cabriolet, so couldn't resist.
Apart from the terrible black paint, its actually completely solid...
Anyway, back to the porsche......
I see you off loaded this to a certain Drew Pritchard.
Certainly was a solid car under the black paint. Looked nice once stripped back.

Haha yeah i did, sold to them over a year ago now, but the programme has only just aired... the Porsche made an appearance too
Was a really good solid car, and they ended up making a nice job of it.

Ah, I hadn’t clocked that was your car. Enjoyed that episode, and a lovely little collection you have there. The 912 looks absolutely stunning, looking forward to seeing it built up. I have a feeling it might sit quite low?!!!

Not too low, I’d say I’m taking inspiration from some of the old 911 race cars with American Racing wheels, quote purposeful, chunky tires, something you could get it and take for a blast round country roads and have a bit of fun in.

Not much to update as I’ve been busy collecting new nuts/bolts, sorting out parts for powder coat etc. But did have a mess about with my wheels, love how the raw mag looks against the fresh paint.
