Yeah that would have been mine. Cheers man.

So I’ve been drilling trim holes in the new panels along the sill and rear quarter, but also working out where the battery sits exactly. Managed to forget to weld in the bit the strap clamps down to, just wondering if anyone has a picture I can use for reference, I’ve got the correct size battery, but the bracket I’ve got seems too long.

Sam, pose the same question in the 912 section on this forum?
Might get better exposure.

Little update, Chris from sublime classic restorations popped round on Saturday to help sort the battery tray and also get the gaps right on the decklid, while I done the doors. Forgot to take pictures while we where doing it, but got the finished products.

The battery tray that was sent with the panels was longer, I’m assuming so you could fit a larger battery if you needed too, but I wanted a snug fit, so decided to shorten it so it looks right.

Then onto the decklid.

Will still need a bit of fettling before paint, but it’s miles better than my attempt at fitting it.
Then I had a go on the doors.

Just got the washer bottle mount to weld in, then it’s ready to go for paint.

There is a plastic battery tray - bottom and top - that is used with the battery that fits within the metal frame you've welded in. See link http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-part ... ion=902-00

Only a minor update, but got my washer bottle stand and washer pump bracket from restoration design last week and got it welded in. The body is now completely ready for paint, it’s booked in, just waiting for the call for me to take it up there.

Hey guys, thought I’d post a little update, plenty been happening, just not posted for a while.

So I mentioned about it had gone to paint a few months ago, since then its been dry build up, panel gaps checked and corrected where necessary, loads of research into the correct texture/body colour/black and what goes where etc..... anyway, I’ll let the pics do the talking.

Off to Stylehaus in Northampton

Really excited, unfortunately due to this whole lockdown situation I can’t go and see it for myself, but Steve is keeping me updated with plenty of progress pics. Also really impressed by the attention to detail they are putting in to make sure the body is as close to original as possible.

And it’s painted, to say I’m happy with it is an understatement and it’s turned out better than I could have imagined.....
