Welcome. 62 is Light Yellow, but for 1972 the badge would be stamped 117. We wish to learn more about this car. Was it raced?

Thank you very much for the clarification! You mean the badge on the pilot's door? We are just like you. Wondering if I ever ran but given its history I do not know if it would be in circuit. The car came out of the factory in 72 being an s with some extras such as the gas tank, sunroof, antenna .... I came to the islands from Germany in the year 73 in the hands of a gentleman named Dieter WOlfgang (We are looking for you See if you have any information but given the years I do not know where the track will be). Since this car has been established in Spain, no reform has been made. The car is in the hands of my father for 20 years or so. Unfortunately it has a motor breakdown and has been stopped for 10 years (the engine is not the original)! It has had several colors, starting with yellow, white and red. We are investigating the history of the car by its peculiarity of the bonnet and its "form of st". Clarify that the car since I entered in Spain consists as St model in the papers. If you want to clarify anything, here I am. I will try to add information from the car as I compile and finally. Excuse my language.

Thank you very much for the welcome!! Every day is taken more pleasure to this of the "collective" mentality in the forums. My father reminds me every day. He told me, I did not have internet or all that information at hand in my time. To this day, the forums are essential, to my understanding.

I am with the restoration in progress in the other forum but I would like to clarify doubts and contribute photos as it arises here. I should open a post on the car and over time I am releasing the data that I am collecting in that post or I am opening some post from time to time. I'm talking about car technics or information about it. Although if you are also interested I can upload some photos of the cure of rust.

Yes, that badge. From 1972 the paint code format changed to xxx-y-z such as 117-9-1
some examples
xxx=114 Signal Yellow
xxx=116 Signal Orange
xxx=117 Light Yellow

y=9 means painted at Porsche

manufacturer code
z=1 Lesonal
z=2 Glasurit
z=3 Herberts

Do you use any method to upload the photos? it is quite uncomfortable for me to have to transform the photos one by one every time I want to update the post !!
