Seat covering kits?

What do people recommend? Or does anyone have any for sale??
I'm tempted by the courdroy set from Lakewell.,

They look nice if not a tad expensive, I would have thought a local trimmer could do them for less than the £500 they are quoting. Also I had my seats done in cord some years ago and although it has worn quite well the black has faded/discolored quite a bit.

Lakewell quality is excellent. I used them for my 356 interior.

I redid mine in leather and tartan plaid. I picked the old seats apart, made templates, cut the leather and stitched it up. In refection I think a set of good quality covers would have saved quite a bit of effort:-) and looked just as good tbh.
Theres quite a lot of work in taking the old covers off and the head rest foam seem to crumble so that will need a bit of tlc.
It was good fun though, its one of the jobs you can do and do well with out having an engineering background. Its fiddly but you know you can get there.
Id def go for it.

I've just split the drivers seat cushion on mine !!! So I've started looking as well

Hi Mark, no not yet, I have just got the car back from the paint shop, looking great outside, so now we need to move inside!!

Blimey, here we are nearly two years later, a house move and another baby born, my seats still need recovering!
So, Mark! - What did you decide on?? lol

Hi Rod, yes I went with Lakewell in the end. Very pleased with the quality.
