My car's home and now have a lot of small jobs to do to get it ready for road test then the IVA.
Lots of little Wiring gremlins that Stuart from SR Autoelectrics is sorting out....
Added numberplates
Fitted Windscreen wipers and washers properly as they had not been reinstalled when the car was painted
Made 17 digit VIN plate that needs welding onto the chassis rail in the engine compartment
gave the interior a good vacuum out
Dash is out at the moment to aid in fixing the wiring gremlins and now the dash has been covered it has pushed the steering column tube down so need to make a small spacer to mount under the top of the column mount so the column is again centered in the steering tube...
The biggest problem to solve is the doors don't now close properly so need to dismantle them to understand why. They did close properly when the body was painted so this must be something to do with the trim/seals and maybe a problem with the locks being not adjusted correctly.
It's just time to solve most of the remaining problems.
