I'm interested too. Where from, how much, quality and how does it fit.
Maybe if a few are interested we could negotiate with the seller for a discount on product and or shipping if it's from overseas?

Re: Xmas came early today
Top tip - warm it up in a tumble dryer a bit to get it to shape
If you don't have a tumble dryer go hi jack a friends one while he's out for the day like I did

Definitely interested in how it fits and where you got it from. My car is completely carpet less but have been toying with reinstating them

Either way, could you post some photos close up of the material, pretty please?

Re: Xmas came early today
I am also interested. I bought a set from 914 Rubber and they are just crap quality. I haven't even tried them in the car yet! Looking for a decent black set in original German loop type carpet.
Re: Xmas came early today
Do you leave the glue in the tin or just pour it directly in the tumble dryer ?? [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]smallspeed wrote:Top tip - warm it up in a tumble dryer a bit to get it to shape

I think I use my friends either way.
Either really loud or really messy [FACE SCREAMING IN FEAR]
Thanks for the tip though I will give it a go with the carpet though.
The kit was from Lakewell in Belgium.
I bought a kit about 5 years ago from 914rubber. I think it's true what they say ... you get what you pay for!! Not fitted this yet but it just looks so much higher in standard. Finishing edges and carpet much better quality. Will be fitting it over the weekend so will report back. And yes I will post some close ups tomorrow.
I check tomorrow but it was more or less 450 Euro . That includes ten piece carpet set plus front and rear trunk and headliner. Oh and I think another 50 euros for a bit extra to recover my dogbone foot rest.
Regards Mark.

Re: Xmas came early today
i found you could fit the carpet and when it cooled down it would hold shape, just be careful not to get it too hot or any rubber backing it might have can come off
I guess you could do the same with a heat gun maybe, but I think that might be too intense heat.. hair dryer might work, but I don't have one (or any hair )

Looks good Mark.
Enjoying the glue fumes!?
Do they offer a firewall carpet? I'm probably removing my backpad.

Not sure they offer it as standard? Not seen it on there website. But they do sell extra carpet by the square meter. As I bought an extra bit for the dog bone foot rest. Think it was 50€ per metre square .23e Heure wrote:Looks good Mark.
