Congratulations Graham. Homer will be along soon to record your epic saga.

Different Homer - the one Neil was referring to was slightly older ...

Priceless homer humour

I can’t wait for the video... as a mechanically-inept chap I love watching / reading and otherwise vicariously experiencing these trials and tribulations...and the ultimate victory! Very satisfying, I’m sure.

Already looking forward to the next one Graham :)
Best

Matt

You all live on a different plant, maybe solar System, maybe different Dimension to me, a mere chap who tinkers in a cold garage.
Obviously don't understand the Homer bit at all!

You will all have to wait for the video, wife thought it very funny idea.
Need to be sure of the clutch and gearbox first, maybe this week, family matters very much in charge for the next 5 weeks.

Still hoping to get another one soon.
Have informed the Boss, but she was not exactly busting with enthusiasm...

If anyone thinks this has been tedious, the guy over on a certain classic Motorcycle forum have looked at the thread 45,000 times!
They too are very pleased it is finally finished and want a rest/move on.

Most are miserable old gits, bit like DD...

I hope the next one will be more positive, less fraught with my cock-ups, but it might be 1949 v 1938 technology. (and parts supply)

I’m very keen to see the next project too and sympathetic with the frustrating problems you’ve had, having spent almost sixty years of my life learning everything the hard way.

My English Literature stretches to Lord of the Rings, lots of Haynes manuals and a few others...
Maybe it is ME who lives in a different system...

Trying to buy another French Lightweight, but not easy.

Just been emailed the French bikes are all sold to a local museum. :(
