Looks good Nick, which LSD are you using, Russ Cockburn grafted a 3 Series one into a '02 casing for me.
Cheers

The diff in the car is a 40% BMW unit with a 4.37:1 C&P.

surprising how much of the "underneathy-bits" like the basic geometry, rear beam, etc. didn't change much from '02's to e21 to e30.. no wonder the e36 was (for better or worse) such a fundamental change

car looks crackin' 8)

And how complex they are compared with a period 911, crossmembers, links, drop links, etc.

I have just got confirmation from the organisers that I have an entry. We are in good company; Jean Ragnotti in a Renault 8 Gordini, Rauno Aaltonen in a Mini Cooper S, Jurgen Barth in a 924 Turbo, and another 327 others. We are 1 of 11 1602/2002s, 81 starters from Bad Homburg

Frosty this morning Nick.

Car look nice. Already getting some shake down miles I see. What's your initial impressions?

Regards
Mike

Lack of rear traction compared with a 911, even with 20 gallons on board.

Sideways action then.

I've got some old pig iron weights from a 911 you could graft onto the inside of the rear quarters
