tunnel - what goes where?

As I didn't take the cables and fuel lines out of the car originally I'm not quite sure what goes where. The main loom and starter cables are in (offside box section), the hand brake cables and heater cables are obvious but I'd like some help with where the fuel lines sit, where the clutch cable and throttle cables are supported and where the brake line runs.

Looking from the back towards the front what runs through the nearside box section?

Rear hanger - is this where the third cotton reel for the the throttle cable goes or is this for the clutch cable?
Image

Front hanger - what is this used to support ?
Image

Off side tags - what goes here, the front one (on the left) has the remnants of a sleeve so does the brake line go here?
Image

The throttle cable runs in three cotton reels, below are the locations for two of them where is the third?

Does the speedo cable just lay on the tunnel floor?

Many thanks..

OK I'll have a go.

'Nearside box section' contains the fuel lines (one or two depending on where your fuel pump is - front or rear)
'Rear hanger' - one of the three cotton reels for the accelerator cable - your car must be LHD
'Offside tags' - brake pipe
last two photo are for the other two cotton reels
Speedo cable is usually zip tied to the offside cables
Clutch cable usually runs in a tube - I think the one in front of your 'rear hanger'.

Thanks Mick - sorry I should have said my car is 1973 E RHD ( viewtopic.php?f=28&t=48230 ). I can now see which tube takes the clutch cable, that means the rear hanger must take the the third cotton reel for the throttle cable although my car is RHD..?

Nearside box section takes both fuel lines and these, I think, have three rubber/plastic sleeves to stop them chaffing?

Is the front hanger for the clutch or the throttle cable?

Thanks for your help...

Sorry I meant RHD - typing never a strong suite.

Don't recall ever seeing rubber sleeves on the fuel lines, but they can do no harm - a word of caution though - if you need to re-tap the threads on the seat runners on the centre console do this before you install the fuel lines. See my IKEA car resto thread if you want to see what happens if you don't!

Front hanger is for the throttle cable. The clutch cable tube ends right up front.

Great thread and brilliant pictures. Please add to it as you go on. It will be a valuable reference thread for those having to complete the same job.
