Thanks Tom, I'm nearly finished with the car, just a few small tasks to clear up but time for a few pics of how she looks.
I'll get some more details shots when I get a chance and when the weather brightens up a little.

So, without further ado: Ta-dah!

Much nicer than I thought it would be.
Colour works, and the ride height spot on.
Given it a decent run yet?

Ha ha, I thought that would be most folks verdict. I'm planning on raising it a little.

Looks really nice Paul - very Cool.

What are the changes you made to the external appearance again? (To save me trolling back 31 pages)

All white lights to the front. All red lights to the rear.
Delete headlamp washer jets. Clear (and oval shape) side repeaters.
Remove rear wiper and rear deck lid badge.

That's nice - it looks really clean but you can't put your finger on why, until the changes are pointed out to you - cool

I'm really pleased with the colour, Mexico Blue is wonderful.
And yet the pics don't capture the shade correctly.
It's a shame to not be able to render it on screen but - in the flesh so to speak - it does look even better. 8)

Looks fantastic! Is it just some lens distortion or do you really have 3 deg of negative camber on the back!

That's just the iPhone wide angle doing that. There's no camber on the back, KS wouldn't talk to me again if there was...

Thanks for the kind words Tom, Andy, Gary, et al.

It is a bit low. Needs to come up just up a little, I think.

When I first came to ddk it was at a time (I think) that Nick was building an RSR replica in Mexico blue. I thought it was a stunning colour then on that car (of course I couldn't afford it, I was just drooling) but I was just unsure how well it was going to look on a 993. I'm convinced now it looks stunning and what really makes it work are those wheels. Fabulous.

But then what did I expect from you, I should have known not to doubt your choice.

Regards
Mike
