Goodwood Breakfast Club - Thoroughbred Sunday - 7 Aug

Post by yoda »

I'm planning to go relatively early if anyone is interested in meeting up there or for the drive down. Theme is based around Tax Free cars so should be plenty to see. Usually a nice morning out.

Hi Jonathan - is that the Ripley Bypass BP Station? There seem to be a couple around there. Will try and meet you there.

Hi Feroz
Yup, continue south past the Ripley turn off, then the road has the gentle left hander... then the long straight gradually rising and the BP is on the crest of the hill...

I'm gonna give this one a go.

In the general car park for me as the SC is only 34 years old so clearly not worthy.

I'll give you a ring :) .

I think my little MR2 (MKII) could do with a trip out, so that's current likely steed.

I'm going to downgrade myself to a maybe for various (good) reasons.

JP, I'll get your part(s) to Jonny, if that's O.K. with you Jonny?

If I end up being able to make it, I'll make my own way down and see you there :) .

I haven't been for some time and hadn't realised that you can't get circuit access, even in an eligible car, without pre-booking. It must be busy these days!

I am heading down in the 356, parking on the grid....you do have to book pretty early now it seems. Last few meetings have been very very busy.

Have been invited to drive down in a DDKers 240Z so, hangover permitting, I'll be there, too 8) .

We'll be parked in a field approx. 1/2 mile from the start/finish line, no doubt  .
