Ralph,

If you find a UK source for the fittings can you please post on here. I have not managed to find a UK supplier myself.

Thanks - a lot of useful stuff there but I don't think that they do big enough.

I am getting a local hydraulics company to make me up a custom adapter but they don't carry the specific threads for Porsche - I think these are M30 x 1.5 or can be known as French Metric? Hydraquip do some pipe fittings but not the adapters that Elephant do. Also I think the bore on the hose tail on the Hydraquip fittings is too small.

I am still looking.......................

If using local hydraulic repair companies don't forget to mention that high temperatures could probably be involved. Think and Elephant will have that covered, but the likes of hose repairers may not.

Yes - good point. They are only machining me up an adapter at the moment so that should be ok.

There are also various types of seats available and care must be taken to match them - My 911 seats are radiused.

Think! made my M30 fittings for a custom dry sump tanks to mate with USA Porsche aftermarket fittings from Anderson.

It was no problem at all. This was 7 years ago, and they were fast and cheap.
It is all CNC'd so anything can be done. They know the Porsche quirky fittings.

Just picked this up

This will enable me to connect the 1970 tank to a spigot oil cooler.
