Hi Dave, LNP 912D is already on the list, unfortunately a lot of these listings I have found don't seem list the VIN, in fact most of my list consists of photos of cars from web searches and checking the regs on Gov.uk.

Whilst on the subject, is there much difference or any in fact between a LHD USA car and a genuine RHD one? Apart from the obvious! Also value wise how much more do you think a RHD is worth over its LHD cousin ?

Just found another, no idea on the reg number, looks like it may have rotted away with the rest of it!

Probably worth sacrificing a LHD car for, having seen the restoration photos of my car I know it is feasible.

Reluctantly I've reached the conclusion that this car is too much of a project for me

I've tried to pitch the price at a level that will hopefully appeal to someone that's missed the fully restored air cooled Porsche boat but has the right skills, time, patience and money to eventually restore this car back to the condition it deserves.

I will obviously direct the new owner to this part of the internet as I'm sure they will need some support from a friendly bunch of like minded enthusiasts

To fill a hole in your records I can confirm the reg. no. is RCS 12H, colour is red and it was first registered in July 1970.

If anyone can add anything to the story of this car I'd really appreciate it as I've not done any research into its past.
