A pillar wiring loom up to interior lights

Post by Splitty64 »

Ok, hopefully last dumb question for a while. How do I draw the roof wiring loom up the A pillar? I have tried from the top down, but can't seem to get the draw wire to exit anywhere, I have tried from the bottom up using the grommeted hole at the top of the inside of the door pillar, just below the bottom of the dash, but agin, no luck. Am i trying the right way, can see a way in from around the bonnet hinge area and feel I must have missed something. Should have taken more pictures a year and half back when I stripped the car.

Please help :-)

I think I used a length of solid wire as a draw wire and went from the scuttle up to the roof.

No hole, just the main channel in the A pillar. Stiff-ish wire from the bottom and you should be able to do it.

Right hand side from near bonnet hinge; if you can't see where it will go I suggest trying from inside the car to fit a guide wire as easier to see where the hole is where the pillar meets the roof.
