Final and best year of the Porsche 356A with the desirable ZF steering box and smooth shifting 716 gearbox. Just out of long term storage. 1600 Super engine in great running condition with recent oil and filter change, new spark plugs and plug wires, rebuilt fuel pump and fuel hoses, new fuel petcock, valves adjusted, new valve cover gaskets, timing and points adjusted. New brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake hoses and hard lines. This 1959 Porsche 356A Super Coupe was ordered with the very rare sunroof option. Estimated that only 5% of the total production run of 356’s were ordered with the factory sunroof option. Far fewer still were Supers. Nice shifting original one year only 716 gearbox with new ring gear bolts. Original exterior color was Silver Metallic, now Ivory. Numbers matching hood, doors and decklid.
