Looking for VERY low mileage aircooled 911

Post by Nick Moss »

Now that Fly 7 has found his low mileage 3.2, can you guys help me find something special?

Seeing this at Essen made me think. 1991 964 with just 9,800 km, looking as if it just left the showroom.

So if anyone knows of a 1989 G50 930 Turbo, a 964 C2 or 993 C2/4 with very low mileage and/or a very special colour/spec or story please let me know.

What did it make you think Nick? At 120,000 euro do you think you will put one away similar and the values will keep going up long term?

Yes, I'm determined to pay top money, never use it, and it will double in value within 5 years. Guaranteed. :)

I know of a LHD 964RS that had less than 10k km on it last time I saw it. I tried to buy it a few years ago but the chap is difficult to deal with - car belongs to his mum!

You're welcome to have a go if you are feeling patient.

Hi Nick,

A bit later I know, but I do have a line on a 993 Turbo, 1995. I had it for MOT a few weeks ago, RHD and22K miles if recall correctly, very interesting owner. Just possible it may be prised from him.

I also know of a '78 Turbo, 1 owner, collected from the factory. Around 50k miles I think, LHD.

I also have 2 other non Porsche cars that may interest you......

Give me a call if you like.

Cheers
Simon

Nick,

Paragon are selling my 930 -- wouldn't class it as uber low miles though, 76k ish, but has to be the best driving 930 out there, which given some of the bad ones might not be much, but mine is a proper widow maker (it's very fast on boost).

Hello Oli,

What a coincidence... I sent Nick the link when they placed it on Facebook whilst he was in Essen (and before he placed his wanted ad).

He had previously mentioned a late Turbo and thought it fit the bill perfectly. Obviously didn't know it was your car at the time.

As you say, it might not meet his mileage demand but find another!

It looks stunning, btw.

All the best.

Thanks Oliver, I was aware of it and I'm sure it is very quick, but I would want a totally stock, low mileage one.

fair enough, it wouldn't take much to revert it to standard, but nothing one could do about the miles !

and thanks Steve, yes i'll be sad to see it go, but I have too many cars and not enough garage space.

This is the one Nick. Great provenance, and I have never seen a NB 964 in speed yellow.
