We have for sale a rather splendid 76 Carrera 3.0.
The car presents a great opportunity for anyone looking to get into early 911 ownership and particularly for anyone looking for something more 'special' (sorry) than its peer 2.7 or SC.
Porsche deemed it worthy of the Carrera badge and chassis code. These cars have acquired a following and are collectible.
This car is complete, running well and has its original engine and fuchs 7x8x15 Wheels and is non sunroof.
It has recently been recommissioned by us and has a thorough engine inspection/compression test. It is in good health and the results and history shows a full engine rebuild in its recent past.
We have also fitted new brakes all round and it has just passed its MOT. It had a myriad new parts fitted, a battery and a full service.
Physically, its, .. Red! It left the factory in a delightful period metallic brown and I expect the red/cream interior was trimmed to match when repainted.
It left the factory as left hand drive model and has at some point made its way to being right hand drive. If the car were to be restored it
is worth possibly considering, for originality, changing it back to being a left hander.
I'd expect the buyer to be knowledgeable about 911 pitfalls and to ask all the usual questions about the cars structural condition.
Being unrestored and original it has its issues, but happily it is very solid in many places. We are also happy to make a ramp available and allow a buyer to inspect.
