It is my birthday today and I'm older than I've ever been.

Edit to say.. I was in a petrol station the other day and the girl at the till started looking at me a bit oddly.

Now I'm no stranger to the adulation of young women and normally take this sort of thing in my stride but she was peering quite a bit.

Turns out I'm almost the spitting embodiment of Kevin McCloud as long as you cover your eyes and suspend your disbelief.

Turns out Nige was right all along.
