WTD Non Spolier 73 911 Front Bumper

Post by DarthMJH »

Hi,

I am toying with the idea of fitting a non spoiler front bumper to my 73 911T, like the one in the picture. I believe this was probably standard when new on my car.

Does anyone have a good second hand one for sale?

Many thanks

Hi Mike. I might be wrong but I've not seen many '73 cars with the T bumper. I'd be interested to know if in fact the S bumper was standard on these last pre IB cars.

Hi Andrew,

You raise a good point. I dont know if the S spoiler was standard or not. I thought it was only the E's and S's that had it as standard. My Coa does not specify a spoiler.

Hopefully someone here will be able to advise.

Edit: I have just looked on the 911s register and there are a few 73 911T's with non spoiler bumpers. However they maybe different to Roa versions.

HI Mike. I had a peak at my COA and it says Steel Bumper. I know think there were a few fibreglass bumpers from the factory but "Steel" certainly doesn't give much away in my case. Any one know if that means S bumper? I think I have just assumed that mine came with an S bumper as the car came with "Comfort" Options and S dials etc.
