MFI fuel pump refurbishment.

I think i am not alone in wanting to give Michael Burgess the MFI expert a huge thumbs up for some great work.
I don't normally go in for all this public thank you stuff, but there is somebody who will take your leaking fuel pump apart and make them look and function like new without having to post them over the pond or worse still, chuck them in the bin.
A great service in the promised time frame and at a fair price too. Not something you come across often.

In the past the only solution has been to try and find a replacement .. Great to know there is someone who can do a quality refurb. What's his contact details for future reference?

Exactly the reason i made the post James. There is also no need for people to be sending there MFI injection pumps to the US either.
Michael rebuilds or services these pumps for several of the trade that frequent this forum.

Another thumbs up from me. He changed the spec of my pump, and did a refurb.
After quoting and then seeing the pump, he charged me less as it was in such good shape, honest bloke!

....I also thought there wasn't much hope for knackered fuel pumps however Gary Cook rebuilt two for me without any issues.....not as shiny as Michael's as I wanted a used look but tested and working perfectly

A further thumbs up for Michael from me - I did a home rebuild with the help of his book, and Michael was very forthcoming with advice and tips regarding the build, then performed a great calibration to a modified spec for my 2.7E motor.
