Front windscreen seal

Post by Gduplock »

Hi all,

There are three versions of the seal for early 911 (with chrome insertstrip) windscreens at varying cost: Genuine Porsche, OEM and Aftermarket. My screen will be out for respray and leaks around the corners between glass and seal.

What are peoples experiences with the different versions. Basically is it worth the extra money for the Genuine Porsche item.

Thanks in advance.

My experience when fitting head-liners is.

Replacement in the front, works and fits fine (euro parts £28 ish)

Genuine Porsche at the rear, nothing but a genuine seal fits correctly. I've tried them all!
