Re: R rated wet dream (911R, 911RS, 911RSR)
I thought people might be interested to see this - a Webasto petrol heater installation including a complete air box delete as I'm running headers on my 2.8RSR. All bespoke parts with diverter valves to direct hot air into the foot wells or up on to the screen in whatever proportion you want. Separate to that is a mini in line fresh air blower from T7 Design which takes air off a bespoke fabricated metal tray under the fresh air inlet grill and I've fitted an SC/Carrera style dash top and modified the dash with a centre vent that it blows out of. Cool air in summer, hot air in winter, and I can remove the petrol heater to save weight in summer if I want to, as there will also be a heated screen for the inevitable.
A culmination of my design and layout and someone elses excellent fabrication skills and I've ended up with an effective all year round heating and ventilation system that is super lightweight and removeable. And it even looks pretty like factory fit oven though I say it myself

Re: R rated wet dream (911R, 911RS, 911RSR)
I so want to see this car finished it almost makes me cry.
3 years and more set backs then the Channel Tunnel project, not to mention similar level of 'refinancing' and broken timescales.
Hopefully won't be long now. I've never worked on any one thing harder I my life. I think I'm emotionally scarred
I've had these for 3 years !! just to remind myself of the objective
