I only have to wait another day until my 67S arrives - will need some TLC but won't need any restoration - more pics and info to follow......

blimey - it comes to something when someone posts a picture of a 911 and i can find exactly the same one that I've taken myself! I'm starting to think that I've spent too much time around these cars and not in a good way.
Enjoy the car Robin. Nearly bought it myself about 4 years ago (as did another ddk-er). Always wondered about it.

I'm getting 924 MOTed in Lisburn on Thursday 27th [ staying with Mike night before] and then overnighting somewhere prior to Mondello on 28th - I could come and see!

Here it is - my 67S - most of you may well know the car and for those that dont it's a matching numbers car albeit running a 2.7 motor at present, 2.0 cases need repaired and the original S engine rebuilt. Has been used as a gentleman's race car for most of its life in the US where it originated from. The car still has all its original panels with only sympathetic restoration over the years and also recently. I'm going to keep the car as is and will resit the temptation to do a full resto - if i want I can do that at another time. So for the moment I'll get the car running, replace glass and sort the electrics and fit a period interior and use it the way it was meant to.
