After a week of metal bashing on the shell took some relief with some parts and planning.
Stainless system on the way from Rich as wanted to keep the period look but will have it coated as well and also found the guys to build us an RSR0012 8)

Also the adapters to keep stock filters on the Webers are on there way

Wow, you're steaming through this. Wish I was moving at a quarter of the pace you are. Looking great.

Its been a busy few weeks on metalwork but seem to making some progress and she starting to look like a shell again :)

hopefully this weekend with a few late nights I can get her off the roasting spit and onto the ramp to start aligning rear quaters, doors, front wings. always like to check gaps on and off the spit to make sure everything is right

still working to have her in paint for Xmas but with a few hundred hours to go we will see where we end up :bigsmurf:

Should there be a hole in the bottom of the kidney bowls to let anything out that might get in?
When I did mine there was a mouse hole in the bottom to vent the cavity.

Thanks guys, have searched a fair few early resto threads but can't see exactly how much should be open and indeed some seem to go for a hole instead :?
