550 Spyder Replica Rebuild & Upgrade

Hi all
I am having some work done to my 550 Spyder replica by Paul Foreman and I posted a few pictures of the story so far on the spyderclub site....I guess I could have put them here so hopefully you are not offended!

I have a few weeks more progress to add in the next few days!
Hopefully the car will be on the Owen Motor Club stand at the NEC Classic Car Show in November.....

Just read through your link. Looks like your having fun, which is what's it's all about. Looking good so far. Like the Bobbin spacer, even left the thread in one lol.

Thanks, wish I was doing it myself but just don't have the time...oh and talent!
Fingers crossed the car will go to the painters in a couple of weeks for about 6 weeks. I saw one of his jobs the other day and the paint was great. Like glass, so fingers crossed.
With some luck the car will be on the Owen Motor a Club stand....with a DDK sticker in the window of course!

Cheers .....Sadly it won't make the NEC now...bit gutted but there you go...
I will get to some shows with it next year. And hopefully the Classic....

This one is registered as A Technic Spyder. It has been on the road for a few years this was just an extensive rebuild!
