IVA Hazard light question

Currently the hazard light switch illuminates when the lights are turned on, but not flash when switch is turned on. The green indicator lights on one of the gauges will flash on/ off at this point. Is this ok?

No idea what "The hazard warning device must have a telltale warning light" means as quoted in the IVA bible.

Greg

seems you may have a wire crossed with the lights to the hazard switch. They have to work the same as a production car. "Telltale light" Hazard switch flashes with the indicator light/s in dash.

What's the back of the hazard light switch look like, take a pic and post.

Hi Rich,

Went back to the instructions seems like I need a Dim / Bright Wiring Kit for both the Hazard and Brake fluid. I can have dimmed illumination which comes on with the sidelights. Then, if you press the switch to activate, the illumination changes to full brightness.
:)

Glad you sorted it.

Depending on what switch you have, on some light switches (rheostat later type) you can hook up a wire from the dash lights to pin 58a and get the same effect that you have but only working at half brightness. Once the hazard switch is depressed it goes to full brightness.
