Looks like I just missed out on some being sold on here end Dec, anyone got some laying around they're not going to get around to using?

Hi James
You might find them difficult to fit on our pre 72 cars. I tried but found that the shocks fouled on the cross member turrets. I removed the top shock covers and they still touched. You might find it different on yours.
The later cars 72 on have the bottom shock mount on the arms further back than the pre 72 cars. They modified the cross member turret to allow for the change in shock angle.
Kind Regards

Hi John
Yep, remember reading about your problems and the difference between the two cross members is quite stark when you see them both, but whilst the car is having surgery now's the time to 'mod'

You also ideally need new rear dampers with a larger bottom bush for the bigger bolt. Although they can be 'modified' (cough) if you are not to precious about these things.

What type of ARB attachment do you want? Pre-SC or later?

Early, pre SC, approx 74 - 78 with the same arb mounts as early steel arms
