James - I just had mine serviced and was asked when the plugs were last changed - it was 2002 (but <10,000m) - and they had a strange look come over their faces as it seems the plugs seize in and become a major piece of work to extract (esp if they break).

I have found some that haven't had the bottom set changed for years but have never had trouble removing them.

well, it took a while but finally my 964 is UK registered The ~DVLA have given me the reg K *** KOO which isn't a bad palte really ... although my private plate will be going on soon & I already have some nice pressed aluminium plates made up

Very nice. I bought a 3.2 Carrera many years back via Porsche Essen so can relate to the learning curve on import / foreign purchases. Great buy, hope you have many happy miles...

As an aside, a mate of mine has a midnight blue LHD 964 with a really dark lilac / mulberry interior. Just been reconnolised at Leathercare in Warrington (who did my 928 interior too). His 964 interior looks stunning too - certain colours definitely suit the car.

1st proper uk drive today , couldn't have chosen a worst weather day either really, wet, windy cold etc

Was good to finally get it out on the roads I know. Had a great drive and the 964 went well . Long term it needs the suspension setting up to give more front end bite and less under steer, but that s to be expected with the front at stock

Don't know what's wrong with me ! ..... It's started already

Russ, it's been getting used when it's dry . A few trips to hull, a couple of school runs etc. It is going to be my daily , along side the CSL ( csl is more customer friendly though )
