Exciting, looks like a fixed rear spoiler under that cover? Actually, there's probably a turbo hiding under there too, the rear arches look a bit wide... :)

My 'new' Porsche

Post by hot66 »

So what had I bought ?

Don't get too excited, it's not a rare special, but to me it's my perfect air cooled Porsche

A 1993 model, Porsche 964 C2 1993, means factory teardrops, factory cups , airbag dash, updated engine design ( no oil leaks ). The car is all stock, except years ago Porsche fitted some spacers to the rear hubs.

black with magenta interior ( incl headlining )

LHD ( as most know, my preferred option in an air cooled 911)

No sunroof

No rear wiper

Air-con

Speced from the factory with heated sport seat for the driver and comfort seat for the passenger

Original stereo, all the tool kit, tyre pump, first aid etc etc. 88k miles, 4 owners.... Last owner 15 years + and he bought it form his local OPC.

It's straight, no accident car.
I fell in love with the interior

The pictures don't do the interior justice ... Also the car is unwashed.

My 'new' Porsche

The journey was a bit of a leap of faith reg the reg plates, as supposedly they are only legal in Germany , or Austria if travelling to Italy .... They are transit plates rather than the normal export plates with the red band. I researched a bit and I'm convinced if they are legal in one European country they should be recognised in all eu member states . Well, we had no problems and they were a lot easier to sort out without having to spend hours of form filling in a German reg office

Great in black. Would need to see the interior first hand before commenting. Enjoy.
