Yes Mike - quoting the seller This extremely early 911 and close to factory original, however it has been fitted with a period Weathersheild sunroof, Solex-Weber Carburetor conversion, running a set of genuine Fuchs alloy wheels, and has had a speaker box fitted to the rear parcel shelf

You can see from the pics on line that it is a Wilsons Weathershield sunroof. If it were my car I'd keep it as is even though to repair the roof wouldn't be out of the question.

Interesting Monty, thanks for posting. Do we know this cars VIN number? Looks like an October or later '65 build.
Is it complete now or still in progress?

Ian

Ian, what features do you see that indicates this period?
The ends of the dash look to be for the early straight kneepad, so perhaps before August; but it is RHD and I do not know how much this affects things. Not saying that you are wrong, but I am looking to learn the "tells" to make proper identification.

Adjustable front strut mounting, booted steering box, Lobro shafts, underpan mounting points on crossbar reinforcement tubes. I think that is a wrap-around kneebar. My guess is mid Oct to Mid November. Anyone else want to guess?
Interesting that there are two sets of floorboards.

Hi Ian
I am in Brisbane and the car is in Perth so it is a long way from where I am. I guess you could contact the restorer to obtain that information. I have today sold my early 67 911 RHD but I suspect the info on that car is a bit late for relevance to this thread
Cheers Geoff

Hi,

I have 303838 if that hasn't been added yet. I've owned it for 3 years and it is currently being fully restored. It was originally mated with 907246 but that engine is missing. It's a 911. 2.0 SWB 130 BHP originally supplied in Slate Grey with Red Leatherette. Car was originally delivered AFN Isleworth and was registered in May 1966.

Hi Shaq3000, Welcome and good to hear from you. Any pictures - always good to see and hear your progress. What was the original registration?

HI - yes this would seem to be new to the database - will PM you before adding it. This would make it currently the 23rd oldest surviving RHD 911.
