anyone (Nick?! ) got a way of giving me an accurate date of birth for my 911S chassis number 305360?

Yeah I've got one of those crappy looking after thought 'S' stamped after the VIN. Feel that there should be something more 'important' looking to designate the top model! (also got the schwingfeuer/standheizung S too.)

Nick I got dating letters from Porsche and all it said was Yes we made the car from duty free parts in 1969 that's it nothing about the car or what model or anything ?? cost ...£75+vat ekk

It shouldn't make any difference where your car was originally exported to - you should be able to get details of your car's original build specification from Porsche Cars GB in Reading. The last contact I had there was Kathryn Josif (Tel: 0118 930 3666).

when I spoke to Porsche GB they couldn't help me (my car is Italian). They gave me the Details for Germany.
