This collaboration of friendly nations could yet keep the union together.
Go in peace & harmony brothers.

Enjoy the scenery (but don't drive into it).

Safe journey everyone!

It has been raining all morning here but the sun has just come out and the weather looks to be good from this evening onwards.

Fingers crossed.

See you tomorrow.

We'll be heading off in a couple of hours (hopefully) - just trying to overcome the challenge of how to get:

- 2 x bags
- 2 x waterproof jkts
- bedding
- towels
- spare exhaust (megaphones & brkt) !!
- tools
- spares
- etc

- plus 2 people into a 904 ...

It would be a shame for us to becomes 'foreigners' as its best to be collaborators as the basis of all that is good in the UK. The marginalization that the hard core Nationalists feel, I can understand. They have issues that reflect Animal Farm, we are all equal partners but some are more equal than others. I think the best solution is a 'no' with the proviso that the Scottish Parliament get full control of the big budget issues that matter, like health, education and social security,, then we can test the waters and see what kind of a job (or hash up) they make of it. Without some level of experience how are we to know their potential as a 'government'. A 'yes' vote will effectively mean there is potential for future unrest as the population/leaders will have no one to blame i.e. 'the English' anymore for any shortcomings on promises made.

One of the biggest disappointments is that you are not venturing north Paul. I missed seeing you and your car at CLM and it would have been nice to see that lovely car on the road in Scotland. Pictures against a backdrop of purple heather would have been stunning.

Safe journey to all on your way up. Fingers crossed for good weather and looking forward to meeting you all.

Regards
Mike
