Over 20 cars have now left Falkirk and are heading to Loch Tay. I'm waiting for any late comers.

See you all in the Riverside for a drink later.

356 back together and running nicely. I did a very short test drive and was happy. However, 1/3 mile from home it lost all drive! Just like it had no petrol. Numpty car on empty. Mrs B got some petrol and it restarted first time. However, 3 mins later same result! We towed the car home and garaged. Now I thinking maybe the coil or a blocked filter/fuel pipe? Into the trusty landie and just before the end of the M6 we also lose drive. Fuel up lift pump not working! ! 2 hours plus waiting to be recovered. Looks like it might be a hire car tomorrow for us. Although I will have another go at getting the 356 to work

Neil, by hook or crook just get your self up here

Lots of times you hear ddk is great, the people or good folk. Well here is the opinion of a very very (but not quite as much as Peter) drunken man.

Ddk is the best group of people (car weirdos off the internet) I know. Jason came a long way back for me after my car had a shite 3/4 of the way up. I will by eternally greatful to him even though he does mention trees a little too much for my liking (you had to be there). Since my arrival, car less, I have had offers of a lift from everyone who has a spare passinger seat and several offers of you take my car for a while. One of the silly sods even handed me the keys there and then. So just get yourself up here, if for nothing else than- I need a bloody lift home.

Brilliant, and having just watched the Gruppe Treffen 14 video on here is all seems to be the same for us all in DDK and elsewhere: all in it together.

One day I'll pluck up the courage to join you all, but today I go cross-eyed after 2 pints of Real Ale.

Hope the rest of the adventure is great and we get more pictures! :drunken:

Not quite Scotland but you can feel the synergy with DDK perspectives.

Wise words Mick.

My tour has taken a bit of a turn for the worst.

My beloved pooch had to be put down last night in my absence. 14 years good but the old fella was not at his best when I left Thursday.

RIP Bootsy. August 15th 2000 - August 23rd 2014

If there's one place to be when this sort of stuff happens its with my good friends within DDK

Jason and I sat up until the wee hours and toasted and cuddled in his memory and I needed that

Great days driving- some fantastic roads, amazing scenery and good banter. Knackered now and going to bed ready for the 350 mile drive tomorrow
