Hi

I'm going to have the car "dipped" before starting what is a lot welding of new panels and before I rush off to the nearest OPC I thought I'd ask anyone if they had some of the parts I require - I am well aware that I'll have to buy most parts new - happy to do that but I'm more than happy to pay a fair price for parts that some of you may have.

Most of the parts are all the same for 65 through to 68 at least with some parts the same as up to 73 or pos beyond?

Obviously happy to take some parts used, or a rust free donor car - let me know what you have?

Needless to say any help would be greatly appreciated - pls PM if you can help.

L & R front wings - with 4 holes for horn grille (if poss)
L & R rear quarter panels
L & R kidney bowls
L & R inner sills
L & R outer sills
L & R floor pan
L & R floor pan outer repair panel
Rear number plate panel
Front bumper
L & R rear bumpers
Front suspension pan
Fuel tank support
L & R battery box
Front panel
Rear slam panel

I'm probably also going to need the following - but will know better once the car had been dipped.

L & R repair sections for inner panel at the torsion bar
L & R windscreen repair panels
L & R Door frame repair panels
Front inner panels don't look great - we'll see if they can be repaired
Rear inner panels also not good - again might repair

There will be more required once the full extent rusty shell has been uncovered.

Thx in advance for any help.

I will probably have the right side kidney, and inner and outers plus a few other bits but won't guarantee it for a couple of weeks. We are just finishing the welding then I will know for sure.
I will keep you posted if you are not desperate

think twice before dipping ?
I dipped 2 cars and never again as the pyrolosis stage warps them and then they can never wash the acid out the seams properly
take some advice off the more experienced on here such as Barry , Alan at Canford etc etc IMO as to what they think is best
