Looking good Adam, except the window seal!! Really is a great colour too. I'm sure the time and money it's taken will be more than worth it once it's back on the road.
You'll be able to get a few miles on the clock before Spa hopefully.

Oh and Gary informed me my main beam switch on indicator arm didn't work and unneeded a new one. He sent me a link to eBay for one and to my great delight I won for £20!!
Unfortunately (I know you can all see this coming) it doesn't work so I contacted the seller who simply informed me how I "took a risk" and how "cheap it would have been if it worked"!!! Lesson learnt...ordered new from Porsche and resisted going round to sellers house and sticking it where the sun don't shine

If described falsely, then you can get back at him via ebay, but for £20 not worth the hassle.
If it's too good to be true then is probably is duff.

Maybe the switch is fixable by someone with time on their hands? John.
Re: Oh yes another 1973 rhd 2.4E
The window seal drama continues..... to back track Barry has fitted a new Genuine Porsche roof (includes front and rear screen surrounds) and Gary has tried two rear genuine Porsche window rubbers.
Apparently the rear screen isn't genuine...
Gary has spent almost two days trying to fit the rear screen and has become a totally unviable situation and was wondering if anyone could advise. Barry suggested trying a non genuine rubber?? Any other ideas welcome... just don't want to finish up with a pair of screen rubbers that leak and end up with rotton car again

If you have it, maybe you could try the old rubber you had just to see if it fits better? If it fits well then maybe Porsche have produced a batch of dud rubbers.

Ridiculous. When their prices are 2-3 times that of pattern parts they should at least make them correctly. What are you planning to do now? Use the old seal?
