Yeah and then go and see my mate with the indicator stalk, wrap him up in the two new Porsche ones, take a photo then stick him on eBay and 'take a chance' on some muppet bidding on him to get my money back

Hi Adam, I did see your post re the window rubber and held off posting as I was due to fit one. A new front and rear rubber arrived from Porsche and each fitted in this 68 TR was are restoring without issue.

Maybe you received a bad batch?

Hi Alan
Car looks nice.....!
First one I purchased probably 18 months ago, Gary couldn't fit that so he bought another last week and that didn't either? Old one fits perfect first time. It's actually in good condition so just going to keep that one
Thanks
Adam

Unless things have changed at Porsche the old ones will be more correct anyway....the only style that can be bought now is the wider style...compare the width of the two....the old ones don't overlap the side metal bodywork as much....somewhere I have my original one, which one day I will re-fit

What a pain in the arse this has been for you and Gary!

Car is looking epic though. Really looking forward to seeing it at Spa. Oh yeah, and you too.

Talking of Spa, I collected the car from Gary yesterday towing the 'parachute' again and this time kept to a steady 60mph and the new disco engine made it :) whilst there see if you can recognise who's car is getting prepped for Spa...

Did the round trip in a day and dropped it straight off at Redline who will be filling the car with fluids and starting it for first time since rebuild

They going to check everything over, take car for a spin, set up suspension and get mot..... fingers crossed :)

Still quite a few bits to sort but pressure off and can drive it now so going to slow down the pace and take a breath

It looks lovely Adam, will be even better on the open roads! Don't think I'll park anywhere near it as it will only emphasise that mine is rather shabby!
