NOW SOLD

Anyone looking for a usefully cheap load lugger or tow car? I'm looking for £1600 for my BMW 530d touring. 5 speed manual. First registered 26/09/02. MOT until April 2015. Tax Sept '14. Metallic green, full leather, AC, 6 disc auto changer, rain sensor wipers, cruise control, one touch electric windows, parking sensors, alarm, remote central locking. 2 keys, full set of books. Michelin tyres all round including unused spare. 160,000 miles with the following history:

13,173 BMW main
26,471 BMW main
39,834 BMW main
53,227 BMW specialist
67,506 BMW specialist
81,294 BMW specialist
95,323 BMW specialist
108,344 BMW specialist
122,618 BMW specialist
139,938 Independent
152,080 Independent

Recent work done in my ownership: new starter motor, front shocks and stabilisers, air mass meter, heater relay, rear air spring, battery.

I have done 30,000 miles in this car, including trips to southern Germany and it is an effortless and comfortable cruiser. Very quiet and fast on motorways and still does 40mpg on long runs. It has been well maintained all of its life. Only bad bits are parking scuffs to the bodywork with a few small dings, most significant is to the rear bumper. The parking sensors do work but are a bit faulty and are too costly to replace. Everything else works as normal. Last true great BMW - built like a tank! Fantastic family car for the money!
